KM62 - BMS Panel Wireman Location: Forest Hill Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 Per Annum Overview: We are looking for a skilled and reliable BMS Panel Wireman to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the wiring and assembly of Building Management System (BMS) panels, ensuring all electrical and control components are correctly installed and tested. You will work closely with the engineering and BMS teams to support the design, construction, and installation of BMS systems for various building automation projects. Duties and Responsibilities: Wire and assemble BMS control panels according to technical drawings and specifications. Install electrical components, such as controllers, relays, switches, and wiring in the BMS panels. Ensure that all wiring connections are secure, and follow electrical codes and safety guidelines. Perform quality checks to verify the wiring and functionality of BMS panels. Conduct preliminary testing to ensure proper operation of control systems and components. Troubleshoot any wiring or electrical issues and provide corrective action when necessary. Maintain accurate wiring diagrams and as-built documentation of the panels. Update wiring schedules, component lists, and test reports as required. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure timely and efficient project completion. Coordinate with other team members to resolve technical or design challenges. Follow safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical equipment. Ensure compliance with industry standards and local codes. Skills and Qualifications: Qualified Electrician. Experience in wiring and assembling electrical panels, preferably in the BMS or automation industry. Proficiency in wiring, installing, and configuring electrical components for control panels. Familiarity with electrical diagrams, wiring schedules, and control systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices. Understanding of BMS systems and related components (e.g., sensors, controllers, actuators). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
