Job summary We are seeking an enthusiastic radiologist to join our established neuroradiology team and support the expansion of neuroradiology services at University Hospitals Sussex. This is a new and exciting opportunity for a post-CCT radiologist or an internationally qualified radiologist with equivalent credentials to further develop their skills, build upon existing neuroradiology training, and gain the additional NHS experience required to practice independently. This is initially a 1-year post, with the option to extend. The appointee will join our existing team of consultants and senior trainees, supporting various aspects of the service according to their skills and interests. Responsibilities include participating in multidisciplinary meetings (MDMs) and undertaking cross-sectional reporting. We pride ourselves on our friendly and supportive culture. The formal job plan for the post-holder will be devised and mutually agreed upon by the appointee and the lead clinician, depending on prior experience and existing skills. The focus will be on developing competencies and exploring areas of special interest. Prior training in neuroradiology is beneficial but not essential. We currently have two neurointerventional trainees, and priority will be placed on diagnostic neuroradiology.
