We have an opportunity for a qualified and skilled Locality Clinical Manager to join our Ashford, Canterbury & Coastal Learning Disability Team.
The Community Learning Disability Team works with people who have learning disabilities and health conditions that need specialist care. The key aim is to reduce health inequalities by helping people overcome barriers to good health.
The multi-disciplinary team provide specialist health advice to people with learning disabilities, their carers, families and the wider health and social care community. The team can provide community nursing care, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, vision and hearing support and speech and language therapy.
To be responsible for the effective leadership, management, delivery and development of the community learning disability team (CLDT), including LD nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, assistant practitioners, and healthcare assistants, in a designated locality. To work with the Head of Service to ensure service development and delivery is in line with KCHFT’s strategic and business objectives; and with national and local policy and regulatory standards, e.g. CQC.

With this in mind as part of the selection process for this position you will be asked to complete two other activities in addition to the competency-based interview that you will invited to. This extended selection process is designed to assess your management style and the specific details of the exercises will be given if you are successfully shortlisted.
