BAM FM is recruiting a Quality Advisor to join the Team. This role is a mobile position and based out of our offices in Solihull. The role will be concerned with auditing, monitoring and measuring performance and compliance of the quality management system, producing data, and reporting as required. Working 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday.
Our Aim is to ensure that the products or services and standards that BAM provides are fit for purpose, legally compliant and meet customer expectation.
Your mission
As a quality advisor, you'll support the Quality Manager in coordinating the activities required to meet the quality standards. You'll ensure that this quality is consistent and meets both external and internal requirements.
Responsibilities:
As the quality advisor, you'll need to:
• Deputise for the Quality Manager as required
• Conduct internal audits against ISO 9001 and the quality management system
• Be the Document Controller for quality related documentation
• Work with other parties within BAM
• Work with and support key parties within BAM FM
• Contribute towards the success of the quality objectives set by FM or the wider BAM
• Assist in maintaining the quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
• Set standards for quality
• Ensure that processes meet international and national standards
• Keep all certifications/accreditations up-to-date
• Look at ways to increase efficiency
• Assess the effectiveness of all changes made.
• Work with the FM IT team to ensure we have relevant data driven BI reports that can drive improvements of the quality management system
• Review performance and identify any areas of weakness, recommending and implementing improvements.
• Ensure the company is working as effectively as possible in order to keep up with competitors.
Who are we looking for?
Essential:
• Comprehensive experience in an Integrated Facilities Management business.
• Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite of Office applications.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to facilitate change.
• Ability to promote best practice.
• Skills in numerical and statistical analysis.

• Professional qualifications that demonstrate professional development in integrated facilities management across quality/continuous improvement methodology.
• Knowledge of Plan, Do, Check, Act methodology.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis.
Desirable:
• A good understanding of Microsoft SharePoint.
• Internal auditor to an ISO standard 9001.
• Experience of creating BI Reports.
• Membership of Chartered Quality Institute.
• Knowledge of ISO 22301 Business Continuity.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001.
