Job summary This post of Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Fellow in paediatric oncology is suitable for Haematology or Paediatric Oncology trainees wishing to gain further experience in BMT. It will be suitable for those wishing to pursue a career in Tertiary Paediatric Oncology, or Haematology. Main duties of the job The Unit has approximately 240 new malignant registrations per year, including children withleukaemia, central nervous system and extra cranial tumours. Children are referred from south ofthe Thames, Kent and the south coast, although for early phase studies patients are referred from allaround the UK via defined referral networks, with a third of patients recruited to paediatric earlyphase studies coming from out of region.
