You will have the capability and capacity to work across the school, providing continuity and maintaining high expectations of behaviour and learning in PE and in the classroom. We are seeking applications for this post, to start from January 2025. This is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity to be involved in driving forward the development of PE/mentoring, within an evidence-informed, inner city school. The successful candidate will: • be a confident and ambitious Sports Instructor • be confident to teach whole classes (across phases) • be confident to use IT to support learning • be prepared to undergo training, to develop your evidence-informed PE subject knowledge • work collaboratively with the PE Lead • work flexibly • lead/support weekly after-school sports clubs, across phases • work inclusively, with a range of students • support and promote the school’s Christian distinctiveness • support and promote the school’s mission statement, guiding principles and values This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016).
