Bristol Grammar School is seeking a confident, primary practitioner, with Games, PE and Swimming specialism, to join the Junior School teaching team as full-time member of staff from September 2025.
The role will include acting as a Form Tutor and class teacher in the Junior School. The successful candidate will teach their form a variety of core and non-core subjects as well as being a key member of the Physical Education teaching team, required to deliver PE, Games and Swimming lessons across the primary age range. Expertise in teaching all aspects of PE, swimming, rugby, hockey and cricket is essential; the ability to offer additional sports is an advantage as it could enhance our Friday Activity programme. ECTs are welcome and encouraged to apply for these roles.
Running after-school practices and some Saturday fixtures is expected of all members of the PE/Games team, as is contributing fully to the life of the School and our co-curricular programme.
