Pulse Mental Health is seeking a skilled Critical Care Physiotherapist based in Chesterfield to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Critical Care Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation and recovery of patients with severe mental health challenges. NHS Would be desirable for this Role. Position Title: Critical Care Physiotherapist Location: Chesterfield Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with critical mental health conditions. Design individualized physiotherapy treatment plans to improve physical function and overall well-being. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises and self-care techniques. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and outcomes. Stay current with developments in critical care physiotherapy and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Physiotherapy; certification or specialization in Critical Care Physiotherapy preferred. Proven experience working with patients in critical care settings, ideally within mental health or psychiatric care. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
