Live Role: Contracts Manager - Social Housing Refurbishments
🔶Location: Essex/Hertfordshire & London
🔶Salary: c. £70,000 - £75,000 + Car Allowance (c. 10% of Salary) + a Healthy Bonus (which has been achieved yearly, sometimes twice per year + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Extra Days over Christmas

Company:
A well-established, family-run regional contractor with over 75 years of history, specialising in social housing refurbishments with a turnover of c. £40m. The company primarily undertakes council work and housing association projects.
Role Overview:
* Overseeing 3-5 projects, including planned and cyclical maintenance, kitchen and bathroom refurbishments (30-300 units), externals, cladding, fire-stopping, structural repairs, and more.
* Leading project programming and health & safety, utilising Microsoft Projects or similar software.
* Managing project teams, including Project Managers and assistants, with some commercial oversight.
* Ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
* Liaising with clients, QS, and estimators, balancing office and site-based work.
* Regular travel to various sites, with flexibility between office and site work.
Ideal Candidate:
* IT-savvy, detail-oriented, and proactive with a strong understanding of Excel.
* Experienced in main contracting, particularly in social housing refurbishments.
* Ambitious, with a readiness to take on greater responsibility and leadership
