Your role
We’re looking for a Smart Communications Coordinator to join our Engineering team.
Using Smart Communications, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and developing customer facing operational communications and system generated communications from our internal IT systems. Acting as an expert in communications, you’ll regularly partake in projects, providing insight and recommendations and developing the desired output. This role reports into our Engineering Team Leader.
Your responsibilities:
1. Document work carried out, identifying and managing risks, following change control procedures as well as planning, testing and implementation of the change.
2. Manage the resolution of errors or assist with resolving larger scale issues.
3. Identify enhancements and understand system capabilities.
4. Balance time/demands between projects, whilst maintaining BAU activities and fulfilling BAU requests.
5. Working as part of, or alongside, multiple project teams. You’ll see the wider picture of how projects impact each other and highlight crossover / issues where needed.
6. Act as expert in all areas of customer facing communications, with a solid understanding of internal systems.
7. Ensure quality of communications produced are in line with business requirements and are delivered to a high standard, on time, following best practice guidelines.
8. Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to deliver personalised, on-brand system generated correspondence, delivered in line with the Simplyhealth business strategy and departmental IT strategy, on time and to a high standard.
9. Keep your knowledge and expertise up to date on the systems used for customer correspondence.
About You
You’ll need to have:
1. Some experience of working with Smart Communications.
2. Some experience of working with CRM systems.
3. IT literacy and an interest in technology.
4. Written communication skills, including attention to detail on spelling and grammar.
5. Effective time management, with the ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines.
6. Flexibility, adaptability and problem-solving competencies.
Our dream candidate might also have:
1. Some experience of XML, Java or JavaScript.
2. Experience working as part of a project team.
3. Customer Service experience.

We have a head office in Hampshire, but depending on your role, you’ll be able to enjoy our ‘smart working’ approach. This means you can flex when and where you spend your time. For many of us this means day to day work can be handled remotely, but there will also be times when we need to come together in the office to collaborate, attend training sessions, induction, briefings and more.
