This is a hands-on position that requires a solid foundation in electrical maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular maintenance, inspections and repairs on machinery, equipment and facilities. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical & Plc control issues to determine appropriate solutions. Collaborate with the production team to address urgent maintenance requirements and minimize downtime. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality and extend the lifespan of equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work done, parts used, and time spent. Adhere to safety protocols and company standards at all times. Duties of a Maintenance Technician: As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing operational efficiency and reliability of our production equipment. This is a hands on position that requires a solid foundation in electrical maintenance. Requirements of a Maintenance Technician Electrical qualifications to a City & Guilds or NVQ standard. Completion of a recognised apprenticeship programme. Proven experience electrical maintenance within a Heavy Engineering, Process, Production or Manufacturing Environment. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently. Effective communication skills to report maintenance updates.
