Overview:

This role reports to the Fixed System Manager and Portable Instrumentation Manager; a significant amount of contact and reporting will be required and reciprocated with assistance and advice to help you progress within the role.

* Gas Detection (Fixed and Portable Instrumentation)
* Noise monitoring instrumentation
* Dust and Air Sampling Instrumentation
* Heat Stress Instrumentation

Primary role responsibilities include:
* Supporting and completing all maintenance and repair work on various Gas Detection and other monitoring equipment.
* Installation of Fixed Gas detection equipment to the standard required for safety equipment.
* Service and Calibration of Portable Instrumentation to the standard required.
* Service Administration / Systems Maintenance – Updating CRM (creating calibration certificates on Specialist Service Software).
* Attending Training/Exhibitions as required.
* Travel / Overnight Stays for installations (All Travel expenses paid).
The ideal Candidate:
* Highly motivated and keen to take on new challenges.
* Comfortable working at heights.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft packages and able to learn new systems (CRM).
* Experience with Safety instrumentation is ideal but not essential.
* Good knowledge of electronics and electrical systems would be beneficial.
* Happy to be onsite/away from home for multiple days at a time when required.
* Driving is essential as you will be travelling to multiple sites.
* Be able to keep a high standard of work for every installation consistently.
* Be competent with the use of power tools.
