Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee works on various New Build & Refurbishment Projects across North Wales & the Northwest of England. As a site manager you will be responsible for looking after the teams on site, liaising with office staff and contracts manager to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
You will monitor programs, procurement, quality, sub-contractors and in house staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem solving & leadership skills, have experience in managing sub contractors (all trades) from commencement to completion and a good knowledge of integrated management systems is desirable. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all site activities run smoothly while providing exceptional customer service and support to both staff and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Promote Site Safety: Ensure a safe working environment on site in accordance with the requirements of CDM 2015 & relevant Health & Safety Regulations.
2. Site Inspections: Perform and document regular site inspections with a strong emphasis on quality control, health & safety and environmental management.
3. Method Statements: Ensure all work aligns with approved method statements.
4. Risk Assessments and Briefings: Conduct and update risk assessments and deliver toolbox talks and briefings, review & monitor method statements.
5. Project Completion: Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
6. Daily Coordination: Schedule, coordinate, and supervise the daily activities of site operatives and teams.
7. Documentation: Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and timely and in line with the company's integrated management system.
8. Daily Work Tracking: Track and document daily work productions.
9. Subcontractor Management: Organize and monitor the work of subcontractors on site.
10. Equipment and Materials Management: Order and manage equipment and materials, coordinating deliveries and pickups as needed.
11. Regulatory Compliance: Implement company and legal regulations, with a focus on health & safety, environmental legislation and quality standards.
12. Strong communication, organizational, planning, and time management skills.
13. Experience in the use of Microsoft 365 and associated programmes.
14. Full UK Driving License.
15. SMSTS Qualification.
16. Previous on site / trade experience preferred.
17. Excellent leadership and motivational qualities.
