Lead Project Manager Who are we looking for? Due to the continued growth of Bridewell's Project Management practice, we are looking for ambitious individuals who are passionate about Project Management and Cyber Security and are keen to continue to develop and grow with us. You'll be an experienced Project Manager who can lead and support on several projects at any one time, with proven experience engaging and managing relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams. What you'll be doing As a Lead Project Manager at Bridewell, you will provide strategic oversight and leadership to a team of Project Managers while managing transformational Cyber Security programmes and strategic projects. You will ensure the successful execution of initiatives that safeguard our clients' organisations against evolving threats. Leveraging your extensive project management expertise and technical knowledge, you will partner with our clients to enhance their overall resilience and Cyber Security posture, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that adhere to industry best practices and regulatory standards. Specific tasks may include: Provide leadership and direction to the project management team, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Lead the start-up and initiation phases of Cyber Security projects, defining clear project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and client expectations. Conduct thorough risk assessments and devise robust mitigation strategies to address potential security threats and project risks, leveraging industry frameworks and standards for effective risk management. Oversee project execution from start to finish, adhering to industry best practices and relevant guidelines leveraging the benefits provided to the company by the Association for Project Management Corporate Partnership. Manage a diverse portfolio of projects including Security Framework Audits and Implementation, Cyber Strategy, Cyber Risk Management, Data Privacy, Offensive Security, Security Architecture, and Cloud Security & Engineering. Collaborate closely with technical teams to facilitate smooth project implementation and delivery, building strong relationships with both internal teams and clients. Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and alignment with project objectives. Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of security professionals, encouraging a collaborative and innovative work culture. Identify opportunities for process improvement within project management lifecycles, driving continuous enhancement of project delivery methodologies. Facilitate knowledge sharing and ongoing professional development among team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning. Manage project budgets efficiently, optimising resource allocation to maximise project efficiency and effectiveness What we're looking for: 6 years experience as a Project Manager in Cyber Security or Information Technology with a focus on leading transformational projects from initiation to completion. 2 years experience as a Line Manager with at least a Level 3 qualification in Leadership & Management. Practitioner level qualification in Project Management (e.g. APM PMQ, PMI PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, MSP, P3O) with a commitment to ongoing professional development. Eligibility of becoming a Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM). Knowledge of Cyber Security principles, standards, and technologies resulting in at least a foundation level qualification (e.g. ISC2 CC, BCS CISMP). Experience of working with a Cyber Security services provider or Cyber Security function. Previous experience in client-facing roles, understanding and meeting client expectations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas and project updates to diverse audiences. Proven ability to engage and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams. Proficient in Microsoft Project with experience of developing and executing project plans aligned with statements of work. Strong problem-solving skills, with a track record of addressing challenges and finding effective solutions. Demonstrated commitment to quality assurance, ensuring project deliverables meet the highest of standards. Proven ability to adapt to change, managing and leading teams through project and organisational change. Proficient in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risk, ensuring successful risk management throughout the project lifecycle. Ability to think strategically, align project goals, with broader organisation objectives, and contribute to long-term vision. Strong analytical skills to assess project performance, analyse data, and make informed decisions. Experience of using Microsoft 365 applications to facilitate effective team communication and collaboration. Effective negotiation skills to manage conflicts, reach consensus, and drive project success. Exceptional time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet project deadlines. Commitment to continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to enhance project management processes and outcomes. Ability to successfully manage multiple projects across a variety of clients.
