An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Temporary Accommodation service in the role of Placement and Temporary Accommodation Officer.
The role is a full-time, 37 hours per week and will require the post holder to work from Riverside House, our office at Hellaby, and will require visits throughout the Borough as necessary.
Working within the Housing Options Service, the Placement and Temporary Accommodation Officers will collaborate closely with the Homelessness and Temporary Accommodation teams to organise all homeless household placements into temporary accommodation.
The role involves operational responsibility for scheduling and organising all homeless household placements into and out of temporary accommodation.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring all sign-ups into temporary accommodation are planned efficiently and thoroughly. They will also consider customer support needs, tailoring the approach to ensure customers understand their placement and the responsibilities of being provided with temporary accommodation, helping to minimise any issues and making the experience a positive one for customers.
