Job overview
We hope you are considering joining Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH). We are striving to be different and working hard to become a community-powered NHS organisation, to significantly transform patient outcomes and tackle health inequalities. It’s an exciting time, and there is a real chance for you to help shape what we do.
We recently launched our ambitious five-year strategy, and you would join a team that supports this strategy, putting the communities we serve at the very heart of our Trust.
RDaSH benefits from outstanding research capability and strong partnerships, and we invest in our leaders.
We have 5 Clinical Care Groups, each with a Care Group Director and Senior Leadership Quad (SLT). We are seeking to recruit a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover for our North Lincolnshire Care Group Director.
You will have day-to-day responsibility for everything within the Care Group, developing the Directorate leadership and leading the SLT. This role is part of the wider Clinical Leadership Executive and influences the wider Trust leadership. You will be a good partner, collectively making a difference, and we are looking for a colleague who is focused on improving care, expects good performance, and supports the delivery of the strategy.
Main duties of the job
This role will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) who is accountable for the day-to-day delivery of effective and safe clinical services across all the Care Groups. You will join the other four Care Group Director Colleagues and the Deputy Chief Operating Officer.
This Care Group Director provides leadership to all their clinical services, including the Trust-wide leadership for Talking Therapies, alongside the Care Group Clinical Directors and Deputy Care Group Director.
If you are passionate about patient care and the RDaSH strategy & values, and can demonstrate:
* Significant experience of operationally managing and improving clinical service delivery
* Strong and demonstrable skills in leadership and clinical engagement
* Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality written material
* Ability to lead and deliver on change
* Sharp analytical skills and data-driven
* Value delivering on performance, safety & quality, and financial sustainability
* Foster strong partnership relationships, including with community voices & those with lived experience
If you would like an informal discussion, please contact Richard Chillery, Chief Operating Officer, via Jenny Hill (PA) at [emailprotected] or 07967 779923.
