Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and mental health challenges? GSL Education Lincoln are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join a school in Lincoln.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with SEND and SEMH experience to make a real difference in students' lives.
Responsibilities as a Learning Support Assistant:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND and SEMH needs.
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Work closely with teachers and the SEN team to implement personalised learning plans.
* Support students with their academic, emotional, and social development.
* Assist with classroom activities, ensuring all students are engaged and supported.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements for the Learning Support Assistant:
* Experience working with SEND and SEMH students.
* Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping students succeed.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* A flexible and proactive approach to supporting students' individual needs.
* Relevant qualifications or experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
