Main duties of the job
Pro-actively support All Age Continuing Care (AACC) Lead Administrator and Business Manager in the provision of business support to the NHS All Age Continuing Care team. This will include providing business, secretarial, and administrative support.
Completion of activities to ensure that the NHS All Age Continuing Care processes run efficiently and within mandated timescales.
Responsible for completing the administration functions for invoice queries and reimbursement claims for AACC. Investigating the invoice queries and responding/challenging providers where necessary and responding to internal colleagues.
Liaise with Operational Teams where required to resolve queries.
To deliver work in a timely manner ensuring adherence to National Framework timescales.
Supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking inquiries as necessary for the Head of Service and Business Manager.
Part-time hours can be considered within this job.

Person specification
Knowledge, Training and Experience
* Educated to GCSE/O level grade C in English or equivalent.
* Educated to NVQ 2 level in Business Administration/Management or relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
* Significant administrative experience including maintaining office systems.
* Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
* Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
* Experience of taking detailed and complex minutes.
* Experience of the application of the Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
* Demonstrable supervisory experience of a small team.
* European Computer Driving License (ECDL).
Communication and Relationship Skills
* Clear communicator with excellent telephone, writing, data entry, and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering clear information/instructions to staff and service users.
* Ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment and able to multi-task.
* Good interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to deal sensitively with patients and their families/representatives.
* Effective team working.
* Ability to demonstrate the ability to deal with difficult/challenging situations.
Autonomy
* Ability to work under supervision but be able to prioritise an unpredictable workload and ensure competing priorities.
