The Role
This is a great opportunity to help shape all the procurement and purchasing functions of the Council by ensuring proper procedures and practices are in place that help the Council achieve its priorities.
The role will involve:
Helping to provide, support and develop the Council’s Procurement Services and to help Council officers achieve best value and services for the district.
Helping officers of the Council with its purchasing of goods and services
This post is permanent. The hours of work for this position are 22 hours per week, working days may vary subject to the needs of the service. This post is based at Lancaster Town Hall, working from other locations as required.

About You
You have a proven track record in providing procurement management and advice or can demonstrate an interest and willingness to develop in managing and advising on procurement and can identify with our organisational values of Pride, Ownership, Working Together and Ambition.
