Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Allocator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the organisation and efficiency of our inventory. As a Stock Allocator, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are properly stocked, displayed, and accessible to customers. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming stock deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality. Organise and replenish stock on shelves, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and in accordance with company standards. Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to management. Assist with the rotation of stock to minimise waste and ensure freshness of products. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the stockroom and sales floor. Collaborate with team members to optimise stock management processes, including logistics and supply chain systems. Utilise inventory management software such as SAP or Oracle EBS to track stock levels and assist in ordering processes. Negotiate with suppliers when necessary to secure favourable terms for stock procurement. Qualifications Previous experience in a stocking or inventory role is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles is advantageous. Proficient in using inventory management systems, particularly SAP or Oracle EBS. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and suppliers.
