Teaching Personnel's PWR Team is seeking highly motivated and resilient Teachers to join a fantastic SEMH school in Wirral. This is a crucial role, and we are looking for candidates who are dedicated to supporting young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons to students with challenging behaviour.
2. Implementing behaviour management strategies effectively and consistently.
3. Creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
4. Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
5. Building positive relationships with students and colleagues.
Essential Requirements:
1. Previous experience working with children and young people (teaching experience preferred, but not essential)
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Strong de-escalation and behaviour management skills
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
5. A passion for supporting young people with challenging needs
Desirable Requirements:
1. Experience working in an SEMH setting
2. Relevant qualifications in childcare, youth work, or a related field
