Purpose of the Role Reporting to Head of Political Engagement Events, we are looking for an Events Project Assistant to join our friendly team to help support the team in the production and delivery of a wide portfolio of events organised by Total Politics. Events include, roundtables, networking receptions, seminars and award ceremonies (within the UK and EU), as well as events at the autumn Party conferences. This is a broad and varied role which will involve working with key stakeholders across multiple projects. You will be supporting on all the event logistics, delegate and client communications, event marketing, including social media and updating websites and event admin and data entry. As an Events Project Assistant, you'll be a key player in ensuring our events run smoothly. Your positive attitude and strong work ethic will be essential as you tackle tasks ranging from event administration and data entry to on-site logistics and delegate support. What we are looking for Entry-level role, with an interest in events; Keen to work within corporate events, meetings, receptions, and conferences; Ability to multi-task and work on a range of events and projects at any one time; Flexible, quick thinker, organised and can deal with tight deadlines; Confident, proactive, and prepared to take a hands-on approach; A keen eye for detail and a good visual eye; Strong administration skills; A friendly and proactive demeanour; Good team player; Reliable, in terms of quality and quantity of work, as well as timekeeping and attendance; A good knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Excel and Word); and Strong level of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
