Secondary Maths Teacher - Fully Qualified Teachers or ECTs will be considered - KS3/4 Provision - Full-time, Monday-Friday - Start Date: April 2025 - Maternity Cover - £100-£170 p/day Teaching Personnel have been approached by specialist provision in Burnley (BB12) who need a Maths Specialist Teacher to join their team for the next academic year. The school caters for pupils aged 11-16 who have social, emotional, and mental health difficulties and can display challenging behaviours. All pupils follow the national curriculum which has been suitably adapted to meet the needs of each pupil. The school require a Secondary Teacher to teach the Maths curriculum across KS3 and KS4. As a Teacher in this provision, you will need to display strong behaviour management strategies and engage all pupils in your class. You must be able to differentiate lesson plans to suit the pupils ECHP and liaise with all support staff to ensure a whole support network is in place for all pupils. Naturally, you will take responsibility for implementing school policies and practices, including those relating to safeguarding and equality of opportunity. You expected to work in partnership with all school staff, parents, carers, and other agencies in providing for the academic, spiritual, moral, social, emotional, and cultural well-being of students and their families. This is a full-time teaching post and the successful candidate will be expected to start on 1 st September 2022 to cover maternity until Friday 31 st March 2023.
