Product Manager
Summary of Role
As a Product Manager, you will be an integral part of the future growth of the department. The focus for this role is to develop our range of Enka Solutions for a variety of sectors including but not limited to Infrastructure drainage, Horizontal drainage application for earthworks, Landfill cap drainage, and veneer stability Vibration damping in infrastructure Enkamat erosion control in wet & dry applications. The Product Manager will build strong relationships with all specifiers to generate specifications with the support of our engineering team, provide seminars, and offer solutions to customer design requests and project management of new and existing projects. You will work effectively within the team to achieve personal and department objectives in line with strategy and embrace the Company Vision, Goals, Values & Behaviours. To attend the office periodically, spending a minimum of 3 days per week on the road. You will need to have good communication skills to enable you to build strong relationships with your customers. The successful candidate will need to have a hunger to achieve and good presentation skills.
Key responsibilities:
* Discover and establish new specifications and identify potential projects
* Develop the Enka product range and systems
* Present CPD style seminars
* Provide technical assistance and recommendations utilizing the engineering department where appropriate
* Maintain and increase the conversion rate of technical recommendations to orders
* Liaise with customers and engineering department to develop strategies to achieve and strive to exceed all set budgets, margins, and sales objectives in line with the Company Vision and Goals
* Provide a key link between all departments through good communication skills
Requirements of the role
* Proven experience within the Construction Industry
* Experience in gaining and defending specifications
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Computer Literate with good Excel skills
* Willing to travel throughout the UK with nights away
* Actively demonstrate the ‘Values and Behaviours’ of the business
* Full UK Driving License
* Experience in Customer Relations
* Understand and work in line with the Geosynthetics Limited business plan
