The Job
1. Oversight of the management of tenants including sourcing suitable tenants and ensuring referencing and right to rent checks are completed.
2. Ensuring a smooth handover of property to new tenants.
3. Ensuring a smooth end of tenancy process. Property inspections in Oxfordshire & Gloucestershire.
4. Dealing with FBTs, Leases, ASTs, Cropping Licenses & Grazing licenses and other 3rd party arrangements (Landlord and Tenant matters).
5. Planning applications for development and estate matters; assisting in the development and delivery of the leisure offerings across the estate.
6. Overseeing smaller development projects, reporting into the Renovation and Development Manager.
7. General estate management matters under the direction of the Head of Property.
8. Assisting with the implementation of Woodland Management Plans.
9. Scheduling, coordinating, and supervising the daily activities of internal and external site operatives, including collation of the necessary paperwork.
10. Organising and planning the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping team.
11. Statutory compliance & Audit - including but not limited to EICR testing, boiler and aga testing (gas and oil), smoke/CO2 alarms, tree surveys, etc.
12. Ensuring Landlords' statutory obligations are met across the estate.
13. Responsible for maintaining accurate records on Key Property Management in relation to all lettings.
14. Implementing, monitoring, and reviewing compliance of DFL or 3rd parties in relation to the CDM Regulations.
15. Ensuring Health and Safety compliance and best practices are implemented in all areas of the business.
16. Customer focus/point of contact for leisure guests.
17. Input into annual budgeting and monthly reporting.
18. Ownership of management accounts.
Person Specification
1. Qualification requirements – MRICS / FAAV and 2 - 3 years in a similar position.
2. Demonstrate a proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety.
3. Computer literate in all MS Office programs, particularly MS Excel.
4. Ability to deal with wide-ranging challenges and responsibilities with diplomacy and patience.
5. Ability to quickly build strong working relationships at all levels of the business.
6. Professional manner and confident communicator.
7. Proactive and flexible approach to work.
8. Willing to take responsibility and ownership for tasks.
9. Ability to work autonomously when required, alongside effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
