This role will help us to do this by providing a professional multi-skilled joinery service, delivering an excellent customer experience. This will be achieved by adhering to health and regulations, as well as organisational policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a core trade in either Plastering or Joinery, with experience of all trades to ensure a ‘first time fix’. In this role, you will be responsible for Carrying out all aspects of joinery and multi skilled works to customers’ homes and empty properties. Carry out various multi skilled works as required by the role (e.g. tiling, patch plastering and minor plumbing). Diagnose and prioritise specific work activities and tasks and use experience of working across all trades within the domestic sector. Undertake tasks outside of the core trade from start to completion. Deliver an excellent customer experience by understanding the different needs of our customers and tailoring your approach. Be easy to deal with and do what you say you will. Operate machinery and equipment in a safe and correct manner in line with the manufacturer’s instructions and our health and safety policies. Work safely at height using the appropriate equipment provided and keep work areas and work wear to a professional standard. We need people who are/ Have experience of Experience undertaking multi-skilled joinery work Experience in a similar role, working across all trades within the domestic sector Sound building and construction knowledge and general building maintenance repair knowledge NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Joinery/Carpentry. The team Our Homes Team make sure customers' homes are well maintained by carrying out repairs, maintenance, and gas servicing They are very important people In the team, there are multi-trades people, electricians, ground workers, roofers, gas engineers, plumbers, and joiners, plus general labourers and apprentices. There is also a team of planners and administrative colleagues who keep the show on the road by booking in all the work and making sure our trades colleagues have everything they need to get the job done.
