VFM Finance Analyst who is a qualified accountant – ACA / ACCA / CIMA or similar, with good analytical and data manipulation skills is required to join our Finance team at a well-established housing association.
SALARY: £50,000 - £55,000 pro rata + Generous Benefits (see below)
LOCATION: Hybrid working partly from the office in Ealing, West London (W5) and the remaining time from home

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a VFM Finance Analyst who is a qualified accountant – ACA / ACCA / CIMA or similar, with good analytical and data manipulation skills. As the VFM Finance Analyst, you will be working with the Finance Transformation Director to set up a new benchmarking and tracking of cost savings capability in Finance.
The role will also be tasked with using publicly available information from annual reports, data from regulators, and other sources in order to construct relevant comparators for performance reporting. Working as the VFM Finance Analyst, you’ll be discussing information availability with the FD and with other staff around the organisation and researching inside and outside the organisation to track it down. You’ll be creating impactful reports and explaining your work. You’ll be working with a talented and supportive team, who’ll show you the ropes and aim to set you up for success.
DUTIES
Your duties and responsibilities as the VFM Finance Analyst will include:
* Using publicly available information from annual reports, data from regulators, and other sources in order to construct relevant comparators for performance reporting.
* Design and document a repeatable process for the Financial Services team to create the benchmarks, in due course.
* Operate a number of benefits realisation and savings trackers, typically constructed in Excel.
* Produce high quality reports for target setting and performance management.
* Support the Finance Transformation Director on projects as required, typically in the role of a Finance analyst.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar.
* Proficient at reporting using Excel and other tools.
* Good analytical and data manipulation skills.
* Comfortable researching data.
