Job title: Project Manager Location: Bristol / Warrington Hybrid Job type: Permanent Our Client an Engineering company are seeking a Project Manager for a permanent position in Bristol or Warrington location. This role is placed within Nuclear, Construction or highly regulated industry. Role As a Project Manager you will be a ccountable for the delivery of the project and Ensure the project scope is accurately defined, estimated and changes to scope controlled throughout the project (NEC 3). Main Responsibilities As a Project manager you will deliver the project safely, produce and implement the project execution plan concerning the distribution of work in line with client strategy for HPC. You will ensure the project is properly commercially managed – profit margin, cash flow/invoicing, customer approvals. Managing the performance of key suppliers and subcontractors (internal and external) ensuring appropriate commercial arrangements are applied. Ownership of the baseline schedule and control estimate, project progress reporting including the % complete, reported actuals, forecast AFC, Earned Value and agreed changes. Ensuring adequate project controls are employed for risk management and change control; You will act as the main interface with all stakeholders and internal / external Customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction are maintained; Liaise with and maintain regular contact with MEH Alliance construction and client project(s) leadership and represent client in HPC meetings; Must be fully committed to the nuclear safety culture and, by your actions, ensure that what you do today, doesn’t cause harm in the future. Experience & Qualifications Project manager will have experience in Mechanical & Electrical M&E Contractor experience. Good understanding of the principles of project management for construction. Experience of dealing with clients and building client relationships. Experience of NEC3 or NEC 4 Forms of contract management. You should be willing to travel to Germany and France as required by the client.
