School Mental Health Assistant Requirements:
1. Personal/Professional experience with children and/or young people is desirable but not essential
2. A caring individual with energy, drive, and enthusiasm
3. Ability to work as part of a team alongside teaching and support staff
4. Willing to support a pupil with personal care where necessary
5. Able to use their initiative to support learning
6. Passion to support children and young people with special educational needs
What you'll need as a School Mental Health Assistant:
1. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to get one
2. Eligibility to work in the UK
3. Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification, at level 2 or above
4. Live locally to Dunstable
