We are looking for an Administrator to join our small Healix Insurance/Capacity Insights team in Esher. The job title for this role will be Insurance Binding Authority Administrator.
About Us: Capacity Insights is an accident and health insurance MGA. We underwrite travel, medical, dental and personal accident insurance on behalf of a Bermudan Insurance Group, Hamilton Insurance.
Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Binding Authority Insurance Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support the management of binding authority agreements, ensuring client requirements, compliance with our authority from Hamilton, regulatory standards and effective communication/evidence of process between all stakeholders.
What are we looking for:
Education to degree standard or equivalent
Previous experience in accident and health insurance, binding authority or similar roles is an advantage.
Strong understanding of insurance principles and regulatory requirements in the UK.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and insurance software applications.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain binding authority agreements, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
* Assist in the preparation and submission of insurance policies and endorsements.
* Liaise with underwriters, brokers, and clients to facilitate smooth transactions and resolve issues.
* Monitor and report on binding authority performance and compliance metrics in partnership with our Data Analyst.
* Conduct regular audits of binding authority files and documentation to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Provide administrative support to the insurance team, including filing, data entry, and database management.
* Stay updated on industry regulations, trends, and best practices related to binding authority insurance.
