Behaviour Support Manager Position: Behaviour Support Manager Hours: Full-time, 42.5 hours per week Location: Wokingham Salary: £27,711 - £30,060 Teaching personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support manager to join there school. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with Social, Emotional, Communication, and Interaction Difficulties (SECID) on a day-to-day basis. You will work closely with the Team to implement and monitor behavioural interventions while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage and support the behaviour of SECID students throughout the school day. Work collaboratively with the Team Leader to implement tailored behavioural interventions for students. Monitor and track students' progress and behaviour, ensuring interventions are effective. Ensure clear and consistent communication with students, staff, and parents to support behavioural development. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping to reinforce positive behaviours and communication skills. Assist in creating and maintaining an inclusive, safe, and positive environment for all students. Essential Skills and Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people with Social, Emotional, and Communication Difficulties. Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and independently. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students. A commitment to ensuring all students achieve their full potential in a supportive, inclusive setting. Desirable: Qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or relevant fields. Experience working in a school or similar educational setting.
