Responsibilities Leadership: Proven ability to lead diverse teams and build relationships in a collaborative yet results-driven environment. Programme Delivery: Lead, shape and drive an international nuclear capability programme from strategy & campaign development through to execution, ensuring objectives are met on time, within scope, and budget. Stakeholder & Diplomatic Engagement : Build trusted relationships across borders, governments, industry, and academia, balancing diplomacy with the ability to challenge the status quo and remove barriers to progress. International Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with international stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration across borders. Financial Management: Oversee programme budgets, financial forecasts, and reporting to ensure financial goals are achieved. Strategic Growth: Identify and execute opportunities to meet the programme’s international footprint and influence both domestically and internationally. Team Management: Inspire and lead a multi-disciplinary, cross-functional team, ensuring seamless integration across engineering, programme, technical, commercial, business management and operational domains. Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks to programme delivery, ensuring all solutions align with contractual obligations and stakeholder expectations. Experience of transforming strategy and campaigns into executable programmes highly desirable. Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of engineering principles and the ability to navigate technical complexities. Broad understanding of defence nuclear power product, systems and lifecycle is advantageous. Personal Attributes: Patient, collaborative, adaptable, and driven, with exceptional communication, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills. Qualifications: Relevant degree or professional project management qualification (e.g., APM PMQ or PPQ) or equivalent industry experience.
