We are now on the lookout for a Commercial Assistant to assist to assist with the commercial function for construction projects. This role will require working and travelling to different sites around the Kent area. Main Duties of the Commercial Assistant: Ensure all work complies with quality, safety, and environmental policies and the requirements of company procedures. Provide assistance to commercial and engineering staff as required. Process material and plant returns onto the companies accounting system and manage queries. Assist with reception, telephone, and postal duties. Co-ordinate and administer staff timesheets and prepare reports for senior management. Maintain commercial spreadsheets under supervision of commercial staff. Assist in running the office or site by arranging supplies, managing cleaning and maintenance. Administrative duties including document control. What we are looking for in a Commercial Assistant: We are looking for someone who has exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, who is organised with good time management and a strong background in administration. They will need to be forward thinking, beyond the given task along with having a flexible approach and not afraid to ask questions. Due to the nature of the role, we need someone who is confident in engaging with staff at all levels as visitors. The successful candidate must have a good working MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of cloud based programs would be an advantage but not essential.
