Key purpose of role: To provide an effective and efficient in class support provision for the College’s teaching and learning environment, subject area depends on subject qualification and or experience. This Apprenticeship will involve responsibilities and learning opportunities within the full range of classroom and other provision types e.g. exam access arrangements and transition to/from College. This Apprenticeship provides detailed knowledge and skills development within the framework of the Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) for all ranges of needs in Post 16 Education. It will focus on In-Class Support, providing support for high needs learners. The Apprentice will spend a minimum of 25 hours per week supporting teaching and learning. There may be opportunity for progression to degree apprenticeships at Level 4 and above at the discretion of the college.
