We are looking for an experienced PR professional to take on the role as Senior PR Executive for Confused.com. You'll be responsible for supporting the development and execution of the brand’s Consumer and Digital PR programme and supporting the PR Manager in the delivery of the overarching strategy.
You'll be running the day-to-day press office function, managing external agencies and partners, and ideating and developing brand and digital PR campaigns. You'll also work closely with other teams across the Confused.com marketing department to amplify consumer and digital PR activity and integrate brand and digital PR work across different platforms.
The successful candidate will have a creative and proactive approach and be able to manage multiple projects with the support of the PR Manager and wider teams.
What you'll be doing
* Running day-to-day press office, including working with external PR agency on proactive and reactive hijacking opportunities, liaising with journalists on inbound requests and competitor monitoring
* Supporting in the development and execution of PR campaigns to support car, home and travel insurance. This will include working with wider teams to develop ideas, creating press materials and liaising with internal teams to build digital assets and content
* Utilising press opportunities to gain back links to Confused.com website, and working with internal teams to integrate opportunities
* Supporting the PR Manager on B2B PR programme, including running the Confused.com LinkedIn calendar, liaising with key stakeholders to develop company and individual profiling opportunities and working with external organisations to amplify Confused.com’s position in the Welsh Fintech ecosystem
* Monitoring PR activity performance including working with external partner to analyse coverage, competitor activity and make recommendations to improve the performance
What we're looking for
Essentials
* 3+ years working in consumer PR either in-house or with a PR agency
* Knowledge or experience in digital PR and link building,
* Experience working with and/or managing external agencies or partners
* Proven record of delivering creative and successful PR campaigns with a focus on achieving brand reach and quality coverage
Desirable
* SEO knowledge
