Job Title: Substance Misuse Practitioner

Rate: £26.00
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
An exciting job role has recently become available with our team in Richmond and Wandsworth Council. They are looking for a new member for their Alcohol and Substance Misuse Team.
What will your responsibilities be?
You will provide support and advice to people who are experiencing difficulties due to substance misuse. You will also manage referrals into the service, completing triage assessments and providing appropriate harm reduction advice. You will develop plans with clients to help them get their lives back to where they want them to be.

Qualifications and Experiences:
As a Substance Misuse Practitioner, you should have experience working within the health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist settings, ideally with those experiencing homelessness. You must have ONC/NVQ level 3 or be willing to achieve this within 12 months and have a valid UK driving license.
