We are looking for a Chef De Partie to come and join our team at South Lakeland Leisure Village.
Key Duties will include:
1. Preparing food
2. Ensure that all food is served at a safe and appropriate temperature using probes where necessary
3. Maintaining excellent standards
4. Assisting in the preparation and cooking
5. Assisting with menu changes
6. Cleaning down the kitchen at the end of service
7. Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene
8. Maintain sufficient stock levels of all food
9. To aid stocktaking in conjunction with the Head Chef
10. To undergo specific training as indicated by the Manager
11. Assisting the manager replenishing stock ensuring compliance with stock rotation requirements
12. Take all reasonable steps to protect the health, safety and welfare of all employees, patrons and visitors, by promoting safe working practices
13. Ensuring that all faults and defects, equipment, tools, buildings, etc., within the remit of the bar and restaurant are reported to your line manager
Skills and Qualifications required:
1. Have a passion for food, hospitality and be a team player
2. Good communication skills
3. Be willing to learn new skills
4. The right to work in the UK
5. Have or willing to work towards Food Safety & Food Hygiene Certificate
