We are looking for a Nuclear Experienced C&I Project Engineer for the CBM project install.
The ideal EC&I Project Engineer will possess the following skills and experience:
1. Site Supervision: Capable of overseeing on-site activities, with SMSTS certification but not mandatory.
2. Risk Assessment and Safety: Proficient in reviewing contractor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
3. Health & Safety Compliance: Experienced in drafting Work Orders that align with the site's health and safety policies and Electrical & Mechanical Safety Rules.
4. Regulatory Adherence: Skilled in identifying and enforcing safety, environmental, and quality standards, as well as ensuring adherence to company policies and relevant legal regulations.
5. Project Support: Able to assist the Project Manager in daily tasks, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met according to the project plan.
6. Meetings & Documentation: Confident in facilitating and leading meetings as needed and maintaining all necessary engineering documentation, including Quality Plans.
7. Contractor Management: Competent in producing technical specifications and supporting contractor selection, ensuring contracts are awarded appropriately.
8. Technical Review: Authorized to assess technical documentation such as contractor submissions, designs, and drawings.
9. Problem Solving: Effectively manage technical queries in line with established procedures.
10. Feasibility & Appraisals: Conduct technical evaluations of project options, including feasibility studies, site surveys, and consultations with designers and engineering teams.
11. Commissioning: Prepare commissioning documents and serve as a test team leader when required.
12. Full SQEP Supervisor.
13. Major energy company experience: Helpful.
14. Ideally C+I / Electrical bias.
15. Experience of working on significant nuclear plant.
16. Fuel route experience: Would be beneficial.
17. Work order specifier.
18. Experience of AMS and work order process.
19. An experienced Engineer to help mentor a Junior PE as part of the project team is essential.
