St. Mary's Cof E Primary School, Timsbury is an exciting and inclusive place to work with a roll of 154 pupils set on the outskirts of Bath. The success of the school means we are growing in popularity and size.
We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and competent Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our outstanding School Team. This is a varied and important role where you will be required to assist with the smooth running of the school office and offer high-quality support to the Executive Headteacher, Head of School and Office Manager.
24 hours per week.
The hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30 am - 3.00 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, term time only with 2 inset days.

The post requires someone calm, who thrives working under pressure and enjoys constantly changing demands. You must have excellent communication skills as you will be based on Reception and therefore the first point of contact for visitors.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and time management skills and be expected to multi-task effectively. Serving the school community will be your ambition, drive and skillset. This exciting and interesting post requires you to be friendly, resilient, time-efficient and accurate. You should be competent at using a range of IT packages and be at a point in your career where you can meet the demands of an exciting, but challenging role. Previous experience working in a school office / educational environment and a working knowledge of SIMS, ParentPay, and Google Drive would be deemed beneficial, but training will be given if the candidate demonstrates a strong skill set in the other areas.
