Job Specification: Commercial Vehicle Technician Location: Kent (Various Depots) Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 (DOE) Hours: 40-hour week (Monday to Friday), rotating shifts: Day Shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM and 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM Saturday Rota: Participation required About the Company: Join a well-established and reputable business specializing in DAF Trucks, operating from four depots across Kent. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on DAF Trucks and other commercial vehicles to the highest standards. Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance schedules in line with manufacturer and legal requirements. Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults efficiently. Ensure accurate and timely completion of job cards and reports. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Collaborate with a skilled team of technicians to deliver exceptional service. Participate in the Saturday rota as part of the workshop schedule. Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician or HGV Technician, preferably with DAF Trucks. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Strong diagnostic skills and experience with modern vehicle systems. HGV Class 1 or 2 license (advantageous but not essential). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
