Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor Rate: £250-£300 p/d (Outside IR35) Duration: 6 Months Location: West Midlands Are you an experienced HSE Advisor looking for an opportunity to make a real impact on a major energy infrastructure project? We are recruiting for a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Advisor to support a leading project in the power sector. This role offers the chance to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance on-site. The Role As an HSE Advisor, you will work closely with the Project HSE Manager to provide expert guidance, support, and advice on all aspects of health, safety, and environmental compliance. Your responsibilities will include: Health & Wellbeing: Championing site wellbeing initiatives, conducting health-focused monitoring and training, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. Safety Compliance: Conducting daily site safety inspections, reviewing RAMS and Safe Systems of Work, and ensuring all incidents and observations are reported and addressed. Environmental Responsibility: Supporting sustainability efforts, advising on environmental matters, and maintaining compliance with environmental policies. Project-Specific Responsibilities: Conducting daily site safety checks, generating HSE reports, attending project meetings, and delivering toolbox talks and inductions. About You To be successful in this role, you will need: A NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety. Experience working in the power, energy, or construction sector. Strong knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental regulations. Experience conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Excellent communication and coaching skills to engage with site teams.
