We are currently recruiting for 1 WTE Health Records Clerks to join the Health Records Service Department. The posts are permanent positions, working full-time 37.5 hours per week. The department is open 7 days a week f rom 06.00 to 18:30. The hours of duty are flexible, with c over for l ate shifts, weekends and Bank Holidays on a rotational basis .
The roles are working across 4 sites within Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust. These include Library Warehouse, Russells Hall Hospital, Corbett Hospital and Guest Hospital. Those with a driving licence over the age of 21, will be added to the driving rota for delivery of urgent and elective casenotes. A vehicle is supplied for this purpose.
The candidates are required to have GCSE Maths and English Language Grad e C (or equiv alent). Previous clerical/admin experience is welcomed. Experience of using Microsoft IT systems, good organisational skills and the ability to work in a demanding /heavy lifting warehouse environment are also essential criteria for this po st .
He a lth Records Clerkâs role, provide patient case notes for patients appointments within the Trust, including emergency and elective appointments. This is a face paced role within a warehouse environment until full training has been completed.
Successful candidates will be trained in Medical Records main warehouse library, picking, filing and preparation of patient case notes. Once fully trained in in the warehouse tasks (approx. 6 months), training will be given for reception desk duties within the Trust being first point of contact for patients when attending for their appointment, making sure all demographic details are correct on the PAS system.
