ECS are a privately owned Freight forwarding and Haulage company, who are rapidly growing. We are looking for someone to join our Account department. The ideal candidate should have experience in maintaining a database of financial information, be able to recognise and solve any problems that may arise and be able to work to a timely manner.
Responsibilities
1. Review and record invoices from vendors to ensure accuracy in billing
2. Have knowledge of approved vendors and policies to avoid paying unauthorised invoices and expenses
3. Sending statements to customers and dealing with any customer query
Qualifications
1. Strong experience in accounting or related field
2. Confident in using SAGE 50 Accounting Software - this is a must!
3. Strong understanding of General Ledger system and Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable processing
4. Strong organisational, analytical and fast learner
5. Detail-oriented
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
