Job Overview: - Provide a comprehensive Electrical service to the Barnard Castle Site. Assist the Engineering team on all works relating to Operational matters, Regulatory and Statutory compliance. Ensure that you work to Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety procedures. To ensure maximum availability of engineering equipment utilizing safe, efficient, planned maintenance service and fault resolution. To provide comprehensive technical support for project, commissioning and hand-over work. Liaise with the users and planning department t adjust schedules in line with company GxP guidelines and KPI's. Main Duties: To carry out the duties expected of a Technician. To take the lead in specific jobs and to direct other crafts persons, technicians or contractors who may be in assistance. To investigate, diagnose and rectify faults to a proven level of competency. Carry out isolations to Company standards to enable the safe disconnection of electrical and mechanical equipment. To check, test, set and adjust electrical and mechanical equipment to the levels to their proven competence. To operate and monitor plant items and services and to maintain such systems including the addition of chemicals and lubricants in accordance with current COSHH regulations. To carry out their duties in compliance with Client procedures and their responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act. To record in writing or by the use of computers, various information such as work done, time taken, material used etc, in the appropriate SAP system or asset history file in accordance with GxP record retention where required. To maintain GxP standards with regards to cleanliness in work areas and of plant and equipment where required. To carry out various tasks on BMS to their personal competency. To be involved in special project teams which could involve cross site working and assist with other areas where required. To liaise with and assist the Engineering team in the generation and reviewing of assets/PPM's and for the prioritising of the day to day work, i.e. PPM's and SSR's to ensure compliance with SOP's and SLA's. To complete Electrical Distribution Board Testing and Inspections and Building Electrical repairs. Completion and closure of all EWP's relating to any electrical activities. What we are looking for: Recent experience in BS7671 Electrical Regulations Ideally served a recognised trade training scheme Ability to undertake all facets of maintenance and installation requirements as required within the scope of the contract IOSH Working safely Customer care/relationship building skills Able to complete & produce RAMs Computer literate – competent in Microsoft Office and ability to work on CAFM systems. Recent experience in working on BMS systems. City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering – 2382 10 or equivalent. Recent experience in PASMA Mobile Tower & Scaffold.
