The Head of Employee Relations is part of the Peoples Services and Organisational Effectiveness Leadership team, employed by Derbyshire Community Health Services and providing both an internal service to our community trust and to our partner mental health trust at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Good staff partnership working is a very important part of the culture in both organisations and is a significant requirement, including attendance and contribution in formal committees. Strong ER expertise is clearly essential, along with excellent working knowledge of the various NHS terms and conditions of service, and the ability to develop and influence others, both inside and outside of the standard management route.
