Little Hill Primary School is looking to recruit a Fixed-Term (2.5 Years – until summer 2027) Learning Support Assistant, 17.50 hours a week, term time. This position will be for 12noon until 3:30pm which will encompass supporting SEND children in Key Stage 2 (Year 4) across lunchtime and the afternoon lessons.
Grade 5 point 7, to start as soon possible.

We are looking to expand our staff team by appointing a SEND Learning Support Assistant who will be able to support pupils within their classroom environment. We want to appoint an individual who thrives on mutual respect, who understands how to communicate with young people, who is interested in being a learner and who works effectively as part of a team.
This role is envisaged to be supporting children on our SEND register across lunchtimes and the afternoon lessons.
Working hours: 12noon – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday, for term time only (plus 5 staff training days per year).
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
• Is happy to have a flexible timetable that changes from week to week, or even from day to day;
• Has experience of working with children with Social, Emotional and/or Mental Health (SEMH) needs;
• Is comfortable working with children within the Primary age range
• Is able to follow teacher instructions and planning
• Has the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
