As the Sales Director at Hive Media Control Ltd, you will be a key figure in driving our business growth. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing our sales strategy across international markets, working closely with senior leadership to establish and achieve ambitious goals. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for leading in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies to accelerate revenue growth.
Defining & Implementing Routes to Market: Establish and execute clear routes to market, including strategies such as resellers, distributors, or direct sales, tailored to each region or target market.
Team Management: Lead and mentor the sales team, setting clear targets, providing guidance, and ensuring forecasts and quotas are consistently met.
International Sales Expansion: Identify and develop opportunities in new and existing international markets, engaging in high-level client negotiations.
Business Development: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers to expand Hive’s market presence.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Analyze sales performance, identify trends, and deliver detailed reports to senior management on progress against targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with the leadership team to align sales strategies with business objectives, ensuring a cohesive and coordinated approach.
Hands-on Mentality: Excel in a small, fast-growing business environment where flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to go beyond the usual 9-5 are essential.
Qualifications:
Proven Industry Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience in the AV or related technology industry, with a strong record of scaling business operations.
Demonstrable Results: Proven experience in significantly growing sales revenue for an international business, with examples to showcase during the interview.
International Sales Experience: Willingness to travel internationally, with an understanding of global markets and diverse cultural contexts.
Leadership & Mentorship: Experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment where adaptability, initiative, and a drive for success are key.
