Workshop Service Engineer
Acle
Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 per annum plus overtime and benefits
We are recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading providers of high-quality cleaning equipment and products, well-regarded across its customer base since its establishment in 1983. They design and manufacture a range of high-pressure water washers, water jetting equipment, and permanently installed factory hygiene systems. Additionally, there are divisions specializing in brewery equipment and bin washing equipment.
A new opportunity has arisen for a Service Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) to fault find, maintain, and repair all types of equipment within the company's product range, including floorcare and associated equipment. The role is around 70% workshop-based with some local travel (Norfolk and Suffolk) as required.
Other Duties Include:
1. Preparation, testing, and delivery of new products.
2. Liaison with customers on-site to ensure their needs are met and building positive relationships.
3. Testing of completed repairs.
4. Completing and maintaining workflow documentation.
5. Working closely with the service manager and other company staff to provide high-quality service to customers.

Individual Requirements:
1. Good electro-mechanical knowledge, aptitude, and experience, ideally including battery-powered equipment; combustion engines (diesel, petrol, LPG); hydraulics.
2. May suit an individual currently working in plant hire, agricultural or horticultural engineering, or large domestic appliance repair.
3. Ability to diagnose, fault find, and repair.
4. A logical, persistent, methodical, and tidy approach to working.
5. Based at Acle with a willingness to travel across the company's principal operating area of Norfolk and Suffolk for which a company vehicle is provided.
6. Able to work effectively within a team and build positive relationships with a wide range of customers.
