Who we are… Biscuiteers is an award-winning luxury gifting brand, sometimes described as the ‘NET-A-PORTER of biscuits’. We launched in 2007 with the mission to offer a more unique, stylish and personalised gifting solution under the banner ‘why send flowers when you can send Biscuiteers?’ Every single biscuit is lovingly made from start to finish and each one is totally individual. Our aim is to provide a seamless, joyful experience that delivers a little magic, one hand-iced biscuit at a time. In 2023 alone, we hand-iced over 3.0 million biscuits and delivered them to customers all over the world. As well as our eCommerce business, we have two biscuit boutiques, where we offer ‘School of Icing’ events, teaching our customers to ice like an expert, while they enjoy a cup of tea or coffee…or even a glass of Prosecco. Our Corporate & Wholesale business has grown hugely in the last few years, we work with a huge range of corporate clients, creating bespoke and branded designs for every occasion and our key clients include the likes of Ralph Lauren, Google, Harrods, Gucci and Selfridges to name a few We’re ambitious and we’re looking to build and strengthen our wonderful team as the business continues to grow. Who we’re looking for… We’re looking for an individual with a proven sales and business development track record to provide Business Development to Biscuiteers. Ideally you would have significant experience in B2B account management and business development, preferably gained within a bespoke, luxury or lifestyle retail environment. International experience is also preferred. Building relationships will be second nature, and you'll be confident in driving proactive development too. We're a busy fast-paced team in an entrepreneurial environment, so if you love getting stuck in and making things happen, this is the role for you This role is fully flexible and potentially part time allowing you to reach into and develop new sales opportunities for us at Biscuiteers. We are also interested in hearing from independent consultants. The right candidate will have: Minimum 5 years of experience in an account management/business development role, with a proven track record of business development strategies, be commercially focused and have a strong network of contacts. To be highly motivated with great initiative and the ability to develop relationships and create sales opportunities. A forward thinking, strategic mindset, being able to bring new ideas and opportunities to Biscuiteers. Excellent communication and attention to detail with an exceptional telephone manner. International experience is preferred. A love of biscuits is a must What you'll be doing Identify New Opportunities: Proactively seek and engage new business opportunities in the UK and Internationally. Lead Generation: Drive qualified leads and enquiries by leveraging key industry contacts and networks. B2B Marketing: Promote and market our B2B offerings through strategic commercial partnerships, ensuring strong brand presence in the market. Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders Market Research & Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new growth areas, adjusting strategies as needed. Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals. Client Retention: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, managing accounts to promote repeat business and long-term partnerships. Reporting & Performance Metrics: Track and report on business development activities, ensuring targets are met and provide regular updates to senior management.
