Job Title: Year 1 Teacher Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire, Wisbech Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £120.00 - £180.00 Per day Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Year 1 students Assess and monitor student progress to ensure learning objectives are met Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching in a primary school setting Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Year 1 Strong communication and organisational skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students Proficiency in classroom management techniques ICT skills for integrating technology into lessons Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in Special Education or Early Years Education Experience working with EAL (English as an Additional Language) students Experience with assessment and data analysis to inform teaching practise Working Conditions: The role involves working in a classroom setting with Year 1 students, following the school calendar and daily schedule.
